Watercolour Journaling
The idea for this watercolor journaling workshop began when the Penhold & District Library discovered Heather’s article in Trailblazher Magazine. Inspired by her words, the library reached out and scheduled a meeting to explore how they could bring this creative practice to their community. During a warm and collaborative Zoom call—made even more enjoyable by a shared love of puppies—Heather and the library team brainstormed ways to bring watercolor journaling to their patrons and the community. This meeting marked the beginning of a meaningful partnership and the development of a workshop designed to foster creativity, mindfulness, and connection.

Workshop Structure
Drawing from expressive arts therapy, Heather will guide participants through three watercolour pages to add to their journals. Each page will include directions on various watercolour painting techniques, a mindful practice to gather inspiration and reflection, and space to practice writing thoughts and experiences. This can be adapted to suit the needs of your organization and/or group. Reach out and see how we can collaborate to create something wonderful!
